BSNL Data Card EVDO Wireless Internet Plans, Cost, Tariff & Review

BSNL EVDO Wireless Internet Broadband Service, which was recently launched became an instant hit especially among laptop users in India. It is an excellent substitute for Dataone broadband connection, as it cheap, reliable & fast. Although coverage across the country is not too impressive, many more cities would be added in the future based on response from users. BSNL has plans to introduce this service in more than 700 cities in various parts of India. Here are some details regarding this device.

bsnl data card evdoEVDO stands for Evolution-Data optimized. It is a data card based wireless internet service which comes at an affordable price with excellent speeds upto 2.4 mbps.

Cost of Data Card :
Evdo Data Card is available at a price of Rs. 2500 one time charges which is Rs 1000 less than the earlier initial price of Rs. 3500 incase you want to own it permanently without having to pay the rental charges. If you do not want to make a one time payment, alternatively you can buy this data card on rental basis at a cost of Rs 200 per month.

Bsnl Evdo Tariff :
The monthly tariff of the data card is Rs 550 in most cities though there have been reports that the tariff differs according to the city and ranges anything from Rs 400 to Rs 550 per month.
