However the successor to the 5-inch Galaxy note is the 10.1-inch Galaxy note tablet which looks all the more stunning, thanks to a gorgeous contemporary design and a ultra-clear LCD display with a high resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels which makes for some amazing viewing.

Though the tablet will compete in the high-end price segment, costing a whopping Rs. 39,999, it sure packs a punch when it comes to almost every aspect. Galaxy Note 10.1 boasts a powerful Quad-core 1.4Ghz processor which means you will be able to do a lot more work more efficiently, without any performance issues whatsoever.

Another great news is that the tablet runs on the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system, which not many other tablets can claim. Coming to the connectivity options, as you would have expected, this powerful device offers a lot of choices, including ultra-fast Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, 3G, USB 2.0, A-GPS and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via an external SD card.

The tablet has two cameras, both offering good picture clarity – a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel at the front especially for video calling and chatting purposes. The rear camera also supports recording of full HD videos at 1080p. ANotehr great thing is that although it is a tablet, Galaxy Note 10.1 also comes with a SIM card slot which means you can use it as a phone as well.

Finally, the USP of this device is its S Note feature that lets you merge your notes and sketches with media and web content to create your very own personalized storyboards, something that will definitely make your phone stand out.

All in all, Galaxy Note 10.1 seems to be a great device no doubt but it is the price that might cause a few consumers to raise their eyebrows.
