Samsung Galaxy S3 London Olympics 2012 Edition Launched

In order to make full use of the 2012 Olympics  and boost its smartphone sales, Samsung has left no stone unturned in coming up with an innovative new London Olympics edition of its popular Galaxy S3 smartphone. Although this is a limited edition phone which means only a few thousand pieces of it will be produced, the move is surely going to notch up the sales figure for Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S3 London Olympics 2012 Edition

The device will be available from August 1 but the sad news is that it is only going to be exclusively launched for the UK, so all you Olympic fans won’t be able to get your hands on it.

Not only has Samsung designed this phone specially for the London Olympics, but it has also added a few features, including the NFC chip that works as the hotel room keycard as well as a TV remote control for changing channels on your TV. Though standard users will not find much utility in these features, these features can still work well for some specific uses.

The good part is that customers are not bound to sign up for any particular carrier and have the liberty for any network they wish to go for – Vodafone, Orange-T-Mobile, Talk Mobile, O2 and Three. You can also grab the Samsung Galaxy S3 London Olympics 2012 Edition for free if you sign up for a new two-year contract starting at £28 per month. The Olympics 2012 Special Edition Galaxy S3 will be available for purchase at Carphone Warehouse stores as well as online from 1st August, so hurry up as it won’t last long!
